A Perfect 10 day Swiss Itinerary


Day 1: Arrive in Geneva, then drive to Montreux. Stay overnight in Montreux.


Day 2: Check out early and head to Montreux for the Golden Pass Belle Epoque train to Gstaad,


arriving at 11:23 am. Spend around three hours exploring Gstaad and Saanen. Return to Montreux in the afternoon, pick up groceries, and drive to Zermatt, aiming to arrive by 7:30 pm.


Day 3:
Spend the day at the Matterhorn Glacier Palace with a rooftop cable car experience. If time allows, visit Gorner Gorge and explore Zermatt Village. 

Day 4: Check out and head to Interlaken, stopping at Brig Village (30 mins), Blausee Lake (2 hour), and Lake Oeschinen (2 hours). In the evening, visit Hoheweg and Unterseen,. Stay overnight in Interlaken.

Day 5: Visit Grindelwald First for Activities. Hike to Lake Bachalpsee which is approximately 3 hours both ways.  In the evening, explore Grindelwald Gorge if time permits. Stay in Interlaken.



Day 6:
Head to Lauterbrunnen. Visit Jungfraujoch, the top of Europe. If time permits, visit Murren and Wengen Villages.

Day 7: Travel from Interlaken to Harder Kulm, then visit Iseltwald village. Visit Chapel Bridge in Lucerne Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 8: Visit Mount Titlis and a local cheese factory in Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 9: Visit Mount Pilatus early in the morning. Depart from Lucerne, stopping at Rhine Falls en route to Zurich. Visit Haus Hiltl, the world’s oldest vegetarian restaurant ( take a buffet dinner where you pay by the weight) . Stay overnight in Zurich.

Day 10: Visit various public Baths in Zurich, then go to Lint Chocolate Factory. Visit Sportbahnen Atzmännig for a toboggan run (optional), then travel to Bern and explore the Zytglogge. Overnight in Bern.

Day 11: Depart from Bern to Geneva Airport for your flight.
